Yasuhiro Wakabayashi, known professionally as Hiro, was a Japanese-born American commercial photographer. He was known for his fashion and still life photography from the mid-1960s onward. Hiro’s career as a fashion and still-life photographer began in the 1950s in New York with “Harper’s Bazaar” and has continued into the 1990s with “Vogue”. Hiro’s view has been assembled by his friend and mentor, Richard Avedon, who has drawn on the whole range of Hiro’s work. Fist USA edition. HCDJ
