This is a 12-volume series of hard cover books. Their most distinguishing feature, is the cover art. The cover illustration is rather primitive, showing a hot air balloon, 2 ships, and a large ‘SEA SERPENT’. The serpent is repeated on the spine, illustration by Henry Austin. A variety of cover colours in Red, Green and Blue.
